IT Facilities Technology Manager

Rolfson Oil is a growing fuel supply and logistics company supporting critical oilfield and infrastructure operations across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and North Dakota. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven IT Facilities Technology Manager to support and maintain the technology systems that keep our facilities connected, secure, and operationally effective.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of technology infrastructure across our multi-state network of facilities and our headquarters in Addison, TX. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable planning a new facility technology buildout, managing vendors and projects, and troubleshooting issues in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support technology systems across company facilities, including network infrastructure, security camera systems, access control systems, and POS systems
- Plan, procure, and deploy technology infrastructure for new facility and yard buildouts in support of company growth
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including cabling, switches, wireless access points, and related networking equipment
- Administer IP-based security camera systems and video management platforms
- Configure, manage, and maintain facility access control systems, credentials, and related hardware
- Support and maintain point-of-sale systems used across company locations
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers
- Coordinate and lead technology projects from planning through completion while working with executive leadership, local management, and external vendors
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to facility personnel and yard managers to minimize operational downtime
- Travel regularly to company yards and facilities across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and North Dakota
- Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, vendors, projects, and facility technology standards
- Assist with additional technology initiatives and projects as assigned by executive and local management
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with networking technology, including switches, wireless access points, cabling, and network management
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and administering access control systems
- Experience supporting IP-based security camera systems and video management software
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, facility technology, and related hardware systems
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in remote field environments with limited supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical personnel
- Clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to company facilities across a multi-state region
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting POS or transactional systems in field, industrial, or retail environments
- Familiarity with industrial, energy, or oilfield facility operations
- Experience managing technology vendors, contractors, and service agreements
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent networking/security certifications
- Experience with structured cabling installations and wireless deployments
- Experience working with multi-site facility infrastructure and remote support operations
Work Environment & Travel:
This position is based out of Rolfson Oil’s headquarters in Addison, TX, with regular travel required to facilities across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Candidates must be comfortable working in both office and outdoor/industrial environments and should expect travel to be a routine part of the role.
