Rolfson Oil, LLC is a growing fuel supply and logistics company focused on the fueling needs of the oil and natural gas industry. Since 1985 Rolfson Oil has delivered bulk fuel and lubricants to business, agriculture, and the oil field in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.
Job Description:
We are looking for an Human Resources Project Coordinator that serves as a flexible, cross-functional HR resource (“floater”) supporting the HR team. This role coordinates and executes a variety of HR projects and provides hands-on support across multiple HR disciplines as business needs evolve. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience within the oil & gas or similarly regulated industry, is highly adaptable, and is comfortable shifting priorities to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and supports multiple HR projects across the department, adjusting priorities based on business needs
- Assist with updating, maintaining, and organizing employee handbooks, policies and procedures
- Support HR audits, compliance reviews, and special initiatives as assigned
- Provide recruiting support as needed, including job postings, resume review, interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Provide backup support during peak hiring periods of HR staff absences
- Assist with payroll processing, audits, and issue resolution, providing backup coverage as needed
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes and employee inquiries
- Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics
- Provide cross-functional support across HR functions (employee relations, recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, compliance) as needed
- Step in to provide coverage during absences, peak workloads, or special projects
- Assist with HR process improvements, documentation, and internal communication
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters

- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in oil & gas, energy, construction, or a similarly regulated industry
- Bachelors Degree and/or HR Certification preferred
