Rolfson Oil, LLC is a growing fuel supply and logistics company focused on the fueling needs of the oil and natural gas industry. Since 1985 Rolfson Oil has delivered bulk fuel and lubricants to business, agriculture, and the oil field in North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Oklahoma.
Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition Supervisor that can lead our Talent Acquisition team. This role involves overseeing the full hiring lifecycle, developing strategic sourcing, building employer branding, ensuring compliance, and partnering with leaders to meet staffing goals, focusing on attracting, hiring and retaining top talent through process improvement and data-driven strategies. You will be a leader that can provide guidance, manage metrics, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, adaptability, high energy, time management (able to handle high volume in fast pace environment), critical thinking, sound judgement, exceptionally organized, and comparable experience. Responsibilities:
- Guide, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, ensuring consistent performance and best practices
- Develop and implement innovative TA strategies, optimize sourcing channels (social media, colleges, networks), and build robust talent pipelines for both hourly field, CDL drivers, and salaried staff
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including job postings, screenings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to define needs, create accurate job descriptions, and align recruitment with business goals
- Enhance company visibility and attractiveness to candidates, promoting a strong employer brand
- Recommend recruitment metrics, analyze performance, and adapt strategies based on data
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work with minimal mistakes in a fast paced environment
- Expertise in recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and ATS platforms
- Pass drug test and criminal background check
- 5-10 years of relevant HR/Recruiting experience, 3+ years of managing a team
- Oilfield industry experience is a strong preference
- Knowledge in DOT compliance is a plus
- Bachelors Degree and/or HR Certification preferred
